The Great Wall
There was once talk of destroying the Great Wall. Why do you think people considered this? Would you support this action or oppose it? Why?

African Music: Linking Past & Present
Traditional African music comes from many different sounds and rhythms. Every culture in Africa contributed to it’s development. Some used drums, while others used wind and string instruments. African music was handed down from one generation to another.
Enslaved Africans sometimes relied on music to remind them of their homeland. Songs of hardship developed into the blues, gospel and jazz. These genres led to ragtime, rock n’ roll, pop, hip-hop and the rap you hear today.
How does music play a role in your life? How do you listen to it? When do you listen to it? What do you listen to? Can you imagine your life without music?
